Most diffusers are plastic boxes that hiss and leave a damp ring on the table. This one is something you will want on display. A glass bottle sits on a simple block base, and instead of mixing oil with water it turns pure essential oil into a fine, dry mist. The result is a cleaner, stronger scent in the room and a piece that looks more like a sculpture than an appliance.
Because it is waterless, there is no tank to refill, no mould to worry about and no heat to change the oil. Just add a few drops of your favourite essential oil, turn the dial to set the strength and let it work quietly in the background. A built-in 2600mAh battery means it runs cordless, so it can move from a bedside table to a desk or a bathroom shelf, and it recharges by USB when it needs topping up.
Choose clear glass on a light natural wood base for a calm, Scandinavian feel, or amber glass on a rich walnut-tone base for a warmer, vintage look. Wipe the base with a dry cloth and clean the glass now and then with a little alcohol to keep it clear. It makes a thoughtful gift for a new home or anyone who loves a slower evening. At LuminaryHome we look for pieces that make a room feel considered, and this one fills it with scent as beautifully as it sits on the shelf.
