These Christmas ornaments are coated in a soft velvet flocking that gives them a rich, matte texture very different from shiny glass baubles. The velvet finish feels cozy and elegant, and it brings depth to a tree when mixed with metallic or glass decorations. Their three-dimensional shapes add interest from every angle as the branches turn. Each ornament has a hanging loop ready for a hook or ribbon.
The ornaments are made from lightweight plastic under the flocking, so they hang easily without bending branches and are much less likely to break if knocked to the floor. That makes them a practical choice for homes with pets or busy hallways. They also look good tied onto garlands, wreaths, gift boxes and table centerpieces. A handful of them in a glass bowl also makes a simple, cozy display on a coffee table.
Choose from wine red, red, brown, dark green or white to build a color story for your tree, or mix several shades for a richer look. Darker tones suit a traditional, warm style, while white works well with silver and natural wood. Store them in a box with tissue between ornaments to protect the flocking for many seasons. Keep small decorations out of reach of very young children.
