Some pillows sit quietly in the background. This one gives a sofa something to look at. The Embossed Swirl Velvet Pillow pairs a soft, short-pile velvet with a raised swirl pattern pressed into the fabric, so light catches the curves and the surface shifts as you walk past. It adds texture to a room without adding more color than you want.
Choose from four tones that work with most palettes: rust for warmth, natural for a light neutral room, forest green for depth, and mink for a soft gray-brown that sits between them. The 20 x 20 inch square fills out a sofa corner or a bed, while the 20 x 12 inch lumbar works on its own on an accent chair or in front of a row of squares. Mix sizes and colors to build a set that suits your space.
Layering is where it does its best work. Pair two squares with a lumbar in a contrasting tone, or mix it with linen and knit pillows so the velvet stands out. Spot clean with a damp cloth to keep the pile looking full. At LuminaryHome, we look for pieces that make a room feel finished, and this pillow does that with very little effort.
