These string lights have a small round bead over each LED, which spreads the light into a soft, even glow instead of a sharp point. They look lovely woven through a Christmas tree, draped along a mantel or wrapped around a mirror or headboard. The beads also give the string a decorative look during the day, so it works as a garland even when the lights are switched off.
Two lengths are available, 3 m with 20 LEDs and 6 m with 40 LEDs, and each comes in a USB version or a battery version. The USB string runs from a phone charger, laptop or power bank, while the battery string can go anywhere without a nearby outlet, such as a table centerpiece, a wreath or a shelf. Choose the length that fits your space and how far you are from power.
Pick warm yellow for a cozy, candle-like glow or white for a brighter, cleaner look. The thin wire bends easily around branches and frames and holds its shape. For indoor and covered outdoor spaces, keep the battery box or USB plug dry. Switch the lights off when you leave the room, and remove batteries when packing them away after the season.
